How We Rank
Our ranking methodology, scoring criteria and review schedule.
Our principles
Rankings are produced by our editors using published criteria. Placements are not sold. No company can pay to appear in a ranking, to improve its position or to change what we write about it.
Scoring criteria
Each option is scored out of 10 across weighted criteria. [EDIT] Confirm the criteria and weights for each ranking type.
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Quality and depth [EDIT] | 30% |
| Ease of use or accessibility [EDIT] | 20% |
| Value for money [EDIT] | 20% |
| Reputation and outcomes [EDIT] | 20% |
| Support and transparency [EDIT] | 10% |
How we gather evidence
Editors use hands-on testing where possible, review public documentation and pricing, and consult practitioners. [EDIT] Describe testing procedures.
How often rankings are reviewed
Every ranking is reviewed at least every [EDIT] months, and sooner if a product or program changes materially. The "Last reviewed" date appears at the top of every ranking.
Affiliate links
Some rankings contain affiliate links, marked as such in the page code with rel="sponsored". Affiliate relationships never affect a position or a score. See our advertising disclosure.
